Teaching piano is my passion. For the past 35 years, I have taught piano students from age 3 to 75 in private lessons, at colleges, through class piano, in group situations, and at summer music camps.

The core of my work is my private piano studio where I love the challenge and joy of discovering each child, teenager, and adult's unique learning style and approach to music. I have also taught at Gustavus Adolphus College and Concordia University/St. Paul in the areas of applied piano, piano pedagogy, accompanying, music fundamentals, and music theory.

During the academic year 2009-2010, I lived in Zhuhai, China where I taught music appreciation and piano workshops at United International College and was the music specialist at Quality Schools International for students ages 2 to 17.

In my free time I love to garden, bike, read, travel, and spend time with my three adult children and husband. My passion in life is to meet new people and discover the unique perspective that each person brings to the world.
